Campus Assessment, Response and Evaluation (CARE) Team

The CARE Team at South Plains College was created to provide a caring, confidential program of identification to incidents that are perceived as disruptive, threatening or violent and to respond to these incidents in a manner that is suitable for protecting the South Plains College community and providing students with the greatest chance for success.
Referrals to CARE Team
Any employee or student of South Plains College who has concern for the well-being or safety of a member of the College community, or who has reason to believe that a student or employee may pose a direct threat to themselves or others, may refer him or her to the CARE Team for an individualized assessment.
